Situated in a quiet back road of individually-designed homes, the property looks out over a protected stretch of land to the fore and the fifth fairway to the rear, thereby ensuring that both views remain unchanged. The villa has a dual entrance curved driveway, and is planted with lush tropical foliage at the front. A canopy car porch gives to a covered walkway with water features and foliage to either side. Entry is straight to the living room which is bright and airy thanks to the large opening doors that lead to the extensive pool area. To the right is a kitchen and dining room, separated from the living room by display shelves. The kitchen is fitted with ample units in wood, with cream marble counters. The kitchen is equipped with quality appliances including a dishwasher , an integrated oven and microwave, a gas&electric hob with an extractor fan above, and a cabinet fridge/freezer. There is a central island for food preparation, as well as a breakfast bar counter, with stools, which divides the kitchen from the dining room. The dining area is currently in use as a snooker room, and has opening doors that lead to the terraces around the pool. Off the kitchen is a maid's room with en-suite facilities and next to this is a laundry with washing machine and tumble drier. This is very capacious with a high, vaulted ceiling with spotlights. The central area is the main body of the bedroom with a beautiful teak-wood, king-size bed, a seating area and a vanity unit. There are windows to both sides making it a light and airy room, with one set of tall French windows opening on to a terrace which overlooks the swimming pool, lily-gilded lake and fifth fairway beyond. A beautiful tranquil aspect. A full-width dressing room is to the right behind two sliding doors and supplies more than ample hanging, shelving and drawer space. The opposite end of the bedroom is home to the large en-suite bathroom. This has a Jacuzzi bath tub, and a large walk-in glass shower cubicle on either side, with a long vanity unit having twin inset wash basins in the centre. Above this is an expansive mirror which gives added dimension, and there is storage below. Externally, the terrace area surrounding the pool is very extensive. An extendable awning gives optional shade if required, directly off the main living room. There is also a cloakroom for added convenience when using the pool. Beyond the terraces the area is laid to lawn, complete with a putting green to one side for golf enthusiasts. Next to this is a sala which houses a circular Jacuzzi, which is raised to give excellent views across to the golf course. The large pool has an in-built Jacuzzi section at one end, around the in-pool stools next to the sunken bar. This is a great place for entertaining as the bar section also has an in-built BBQ and a wine-fridge. Located just a short distance to the Laguna complex with all its attendant facilities such as shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, and spas, it is extremely convenient, yet enjoys a very tranquil locale. The airport is just a thirty minute drive away, and the white sands of Bang Tao Bay are reached within about a five minute drive, whilst the nightlife, entertainment and shopping malls of Patong can be reached in approximately 25 minutes.
